Our Colour Run is much more than a fun afternoon of colourful powder, laughter and smiles, it's an opportunity for our entire school community to come together to make a lasting difference for every child at Collingham Lady Elizabeth Hastings Primary School.
From Reception to Year 6, every child has the chance to take part in this exciting event. As they run around the course, they'll be showered with vibrant coloured powder, cheered on by family and friends and celebrated as they cross the finish line. It's all about having fun, being active, creating memories and working together towards a shared goal.
Earlier this year, the children were asked what improvements they would most like to see around school. After holding their own vote, they chose to raise money for:
🎨 Colourful playground game markings
âš½ New football nets
🪑 More benches for children to sit and socialise during playtimes
These are improvements that every child can enjoy, regardless of their age or year group, helping to make playtimes even more active, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
Every sponsorship, no matter how big or small, helps us move closer to creating a better outdoor environment for all of our children.
The incredible support shown by our school community for the Book Nook proved what can be achieved when everyone comes together behind a shared goal.
We hope the Colour Run will build on that same community spirit, giving families, friends and local supporters the chance to help create something that will benefit children for years to come.
