The objects for which the charity (the objects) is established and to which it is specifically restricted are to promote the following purposes for the benefit of the public and/or in and around the area of benefit:
1.1. preventing or relieving the poverty of older people;
1.2. advancing education for older people;
1.3. preventing or relieving sickness, disease or suffering in older people (whether emotional, mental or physical);
1.4. promoting equality and diversity in relation to older people;
1.5. assisting older people in need by reason of ill-health, disability, financial hardship, social exclusion or other disadvantage; and
1.6. to promote such other charitable purposes (which may be for the benefit of persons other than older people as the trustees may from time to time decide) where such purposes are directly or indirectly aligned to or further any one or more of the above.
