BBC Children in Need is a charity that provides grants and funding to projects based in the UK that have the aim of helping disadvantaged young people. This help comes in a wide variety of forms. For example, a lot of Children in Need’s invaluable work involves supporting charities that help children who have been affected by poverty, disabilities, abuse, and mental health difficulties.

Children in Need currently supports over 3,000 projects in communities across the UK, all of which aim to improve the lives of children.

To support their fantastic work, we are embracing the theme ‘BE SPOTacular’ for our non-uniform day. Take inspiration from Pudsey and go for yellow, spotty or colourful outfits.

The charity?s objects are to further such exclusively charitable objects and purposes in any part of the united kingdom, the channel islands and the isle of man as the directors may in their discretion think fit and in particular (without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) to relieve need, hardship, sickness, handicap and distress amongst children and young persons.
