To celebrate World Book Day and encourage a lifelong love of reading, the PTFA are running our first sponsored read. The sponsored read will run from Saturday 1^st March until Friday 7^th March. This is an optional event but we do hope that many children will choose to take part.

Children can choose whatever they want to read – from comics to classics – they are not being assessed, its about reading for fun. Younger children can join in too by having books read to them and sharing them with family members.

All of the sponsorship money raised will go towards funding the library refurbishment in the main building to make it more user friendly for the children to explore.

To provide the children with a little competition between the year groups there will be prizes for the classes that read the most during the week and for the class that raises the most.
