Join us for the Sponsored Fun Run and help us build a playground for the future!

We’re excited to announce our Sponsored Fun Run on Saturday, 17th May 2025 at Ladywell Arena. This is an amazing opportunity for our children to take part in something special while helping raise funds for Project Playground.

As part of our fundraising campaign, we’re aiming to raise £10,000 through this event. Your sponsorship will help create a space that nurtures our children’s development and celebrates the 50th anniversary of our school.

What is Project Playground?

This project will replace the existing treewalk with a new, exciting play area that reflects our school’s unique character and creativity. This space will:

  • Encourage teamwork, friendship, and exercise
  • Boost creativity and problem-solving
  • Connect children with nature and sensory experiences
  • Reduce stress and build confidence
  • Improve academic focus and learning

 

This isn’t just a playground – it’s a lasting legacy that will serve current and future generations of children. We believe all children deserve the best start in life, and together, we can make this a reality!

How Can You Help?

  • Sign up for the fun run! Children will be able create their own fundraiser pages to collect sponsorship from family, friends, and the wider community. Every step they take in the run helps bring us closer to our goal!
  • Sponsor a runner! If you’re unable to attend, you can still support by sponsoring a participant. Your donation will go directly towards making our new playground a reality.
  • Cheer on the runners! Please come along on the day to cheer on the runners and (hopefully) enjoy some good Spring weather. There will be food and drinks available.

 

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, 17th May 2025
  • Location: Ladywell Arena
  • Doors Open: 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
  • Race 1: 3:00 PM - 1 km
  • Race 2: 4:00 PM - 2 km
  • Race Entry Fee: £3 per child

 

Come along for a day of fun, fitness, and food, and be part of something truly special! All participants will receive a medal, and there will be plenty of food and drinks available.
