We are Nun Monkton PTFA, a registered charity which supports the educational and extra curricular needs of the pupils and staff of our small rural school in the heart of Yorkshire. The school previously struggled with pupil numbers but is now thriving and a much loved asset to the local children and community.
Our fundraising supports extra curricular activities for the pupils including music lessons, interactive lessons, school trips, residential trips and vital equipment to support our pupils and their wonderful teachers.
We have now set our sights on the school building and outside area. It is a beautiful but ageing building and the playground is in dire need of improvements if we are to continue offering same amazing experience and to attract future pupils to ensure the continuance of the school.
