St Lukes has secured a place at the annual community fun run “Run Islington Run” on Sunday 6th July at 10am.
Children from 22 local primary schools are coming together to take on a fundraising running challenge. St Luke’s pupils and their families will also be running – 1km for nursery/reception and 2km from years 1-6.

An immersive audio Experience, every child in a class steps into an immersive story. They become a character, moving around the space, meeting people and visiting places, as they live and feel their learning. Follow-on oracy and literacy resources build on this shared experience to create a powerful, curriculum-linked learning sequence.
Good Samaritan DANCE Workshop- £500
The Good Samaritan workshops focus on the importance of helping others and standing up for them, even if they are not like you. The workshops touch on themes of living in a multi-racial / multi-religious society. Both the performance and workshops encourage exploration, and, in line with RE, children will be challenged to consider whether the parables have any relevance for them, to think about what is
This is desperately needed and will hugely improve opportunities we are able to offer. By sending lots of runners, our school will receive £5,000 from the event sponsors but we need to raise more funds.
