Water Bottle Refill Station Fundraiser

At Tufnell Park Primary, we believe every child deserves easy access to drinking water—especially during active outdoor play. With children spending more time outside, particularly during the warmer months, staying hydrated is essential for their health, focus, and overall well-being.

Currently, students have to go indoors to refill their bottles, which takes time away from play and creates congestion around indoor taps. To make hydration easier and more accessible, we’re aiming to install one or more water bottle refill stations directly on the main playground.

Through the excellent turn-out of the parent-carer community to Run Kids Run, we have already partially funded this goal. We’re inviting the Tufnell Park community—families, carers, friends, and neighbours—to help us reach this goal this year. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making this simple but impactful improvement to our playground.

These stations will allow children to refill their bottles quickly and independently, encourage healthy hydration habits, and reduce the need for single-use plastics.
