Just as St Oswald showed great leadership and courage in spreading Christianity, the members of St. Oswald’s House stand for ambition, unity, and most importantly compassion for others in our community.  In St Oswald's we hope to lead by example, to support each other and to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself.  We hope you will support St Oswald's in the sponsored walk as we believe that every single person can make a difference.

The Whole School Sponsored Walk, taking place on Friday 19th September 2025. This special occasion aims to raise funds for the Cathedral Crisis Appeal and offers a rare and valuable opportunity for the entire school community to come together in a shared experience. 

The walk will follow a 10 mile circular route that leads us through scenic paths into Ferry Meadows, where students will stop for lunch and take part in some fun house activities. All staff members will be involved—either walking the route alongside students or supervising at designated checkpoints and water stations. Members of the Senior Leadership Team have already completed the route and are fully familiar with it.
