Microsoft have released Windows 11 as their replacement operating system for Windows 10 and the support for Windows 10 is coming to an end in October 2025.  Unfortunately, the entire suite of computers and laptops we have, and which the children use, do not meet Microsoft's system requirements for upgrading to Windows 11.  We now need to replace our equipment as it would pose a security risk if we were to continue to use what we have at the moment.  As you might imagine, the school's budget is tight and we need to find other ways to raise the significant funds we need to replace this vital resource for the children.

The wonderful team of staff at BFS have decided to dig out their walking boots and 'Trek for Tech'.  We will be walking up Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) on the 11th October 2025 and would love your support in the form of sponsorship if you are in a position to help.  If you are eligible for Gift Aid, we would be grateful if you could also provide your details so that we can claim an extra 25% on top of your sponsorship at no additional cost to you.  

Every penny of the money the school receives will go towards the purchase of new computers and laptops for the children to use as part of their day to day learning.
