In the UK, 1 in 7 babies need specialist care at birth. SSNAP supports sick and premature babies, their families, and the dedicated NHS teams caring for them in the Newborn Care Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Imagine welcoming your newborn baby into the world and, instead of spending those precious first days together as a family, finding yourselves surrounded by incubators, monitors, medical procedures and uncertainty. For many families, this is the overwhelming reality of neonatal care.
SSNAP are there to help families through some of the most difficult days of their lives.
With the charity's aims close to the heart of students and staff alike the sixth form have been supporting this charity since Feb 2025 and look forward to continuing to raise more funds this academic year.
