Greenfield PTFA presents The Great Greenfield Staff 10k Sponsored Run!

Greenfield PTFA's fundraising goal for 2026 is to restore the school pond and create an 'outdoor classroom' for everyone to enjoy. We plan to install a fully accessible pathway to a revamped outdoor classroom, where children can enjoy hands-on, play-based learning within a woodland environment. With your support, we can restore and equip a vital part of our school and give every child the chance to thrive through outdoor play.

Our fabulous staff have agreed to put on their running shoes and take part in the Leicester 10k on Sunday 1st March to raise funds for Greenfield PTFA. This event starts and finishes in Jubilee Square in the city - https://www.runforall.com/events/10k/leicester-10k/

And to make it more interesting, Team Greenfield - Miss Turton, Miss Farmer, Mrs Mears, Miss Radford, Mr Allcott, Mrs Wheway, Mr Protheroe, Mr Goldberg and Mr Clarke - have agreed to the following:

If families raise £100 the runners will all do a dance as they cross the finish line
And if families raise £250 the runners will all wear green wigs
And if families raise £500 Mr Clarke and Mr Allcott will wear a silly costume
And if families raise £1,000 all 9 members of staff will wear a costume
