Senior School Giving Day 2026

Giving Day on 9-10 March is a 36‑hour celebration of community, spirit and challenge — a chance for students across the School to get involved, take part, cheer each other on and help create a brilliant atmosphere.
 
The Head’s Run – Sixth Form Challenge
Ten intrepid Sixth Form students will line up with the Head and a committed crew of staff who’ll be out at the crack of dawn on Monday 9 March to take on the full 17.6 km route before school. It’s a seriously impressive challenge and a great way for the Sixth Form to lead from the front on Giving Day.
 
Senior School Activities & Mini‑Challenges
Throughout Giving Day, students will get stuck into a series of fun, fast‑paced mini‑challenges in the Ideas Hub, led by:
- The Little Six and supported by The Sports Captains.
 
Expect quick‑fire competitions, leaderboard battles, teamwork and plenty of House spirit. Students will also be cheering on the brave teachers taking part in the eagerly anticipated Staff Lip Sync Battle, organised by The Big 6, which is always a highlight and helps to bring even more energy to the day.
 
Across First School, Canonaid will help run short, mini‑debates on giving and service, encouraging younger pupils to think about community, kindness and impact.
 
Thank you to the Headmistress for leading from the front, every student, parent and staff member who gets involved on Giving Day. Your enthusiasm, teamwork and support are what make the annual Giving Day such a memorable part of school life.
