Year 8

Mr. Colomb, one of our wonderful Year 3 teachers, will be attempting to break the World Record for the fastest marathon run dressed as a book!

To support this epic feat, we’re inviting our pupils to read as much as they can over the Easter holidays. From bedtime stories and poems to chapter books and fact books. Encouraging reading for pleasure and promoting community philanthropy.

Every page, every book and every minute spent reading will count.

The more reading the boys do, the more sponsorship we collect, the faster Mr. Colomb has to run and the closer he gets to becoming a World Record holder!

The funds raised will support reading for pleasure and literacy across our community. With the help of Sara's Story Store and Usborne Books we will be able to support local schools and community projects as well as enhancing our own reading provision in STEM subjects and languages, providing reading access for all.

Let’s share a love of reading, support our community, and 'Go All In' together in this National Year of Reading!
