At LCS this year, our chosen charity is Duchenne UK. Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a progressive condition diagnosed in childhood. It causes all the muscles in the body to gradually weaken. It is a charity very close to our hearts as a student who we love very much has this condition. There is currently no cure for Duchenne, but there is hope. Duchenne UK are at the forefront of advancing treatments and care for everyone affected by the disease, and we want to do what we can to raise money for this fantastic charity.
