Welcome to Tufnell Park's 'Run to Raise' Campaign 2026! 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

Every summer term our school community gets together to fundraise and get moving with two incredible events:

21st & 22nd May - The 2026 Tufnell Park Primary School Fun Run: 

The Fun Run is one of those days that reminds us why Tufnell Park Primary School is such a special place. Now entering our 17th year, it's a day where our children show incredible determination, our community comes out to cheer them on — and together we raise money that goes straight back into our kids' education.

Our PTA exists because our children's experience of school is richer when parents and teachers work together — and the Fun Run is one of the ways we make that real. Every penny stays right here at Tufnell Park Primary: funding school trips, creative workshops, visiting speakers, new technology, art materials, and more. We're also working towards transforming our playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces — a nearly £130,000 undertaking that we chip away at every year.

In 2024 we raised an incredible £5,100 (incl. cash & gift aid). Last year we raised £3,400 (incl. cash & gift aid) — enough to maintain our annual bursary to the school, but not enough to go further. This year we'd like to see us all come back with renewed energy. Can we make 2026 our biggest Fun Run ever?

28th June - Run Kids Run: 

On Sunday 28 June, TPPS families will be taking part in Run Kids Run at Highbury Fields. Run Kids Run is a family-friendly community running event that helps schools raise money simply through participation. If 135 children and adults from Tufnell Park Primary take part, the school will receive £5,000 to support projects and equipment that benefit all our children. Every runner counts towards the 131, children, parents, carers, grandparents and siblings.

We're also hoping to boost this generous donation from Run Kids Run with fundraising from our own school community!

Here's all you need to do: sponsor your child, their class, or any child in the school who takes part in the Fun Run or Run Kids Run. Ask grandparents, aunties, uncles, neighbours and friends to chip in too — a fiver, a tenner, whatever they can. And if you're a UK taxpayer, make sure to tick Gift Aid when you donate — it adds 25p for every £1 at no cost to you, and it really adds up.
