Introducing The Coleridge Active Challenge! During the month of May, all children are invited to get sponsorship for getting active doing something they love -- or trying something new! -- with a goal of raising £20.26 each.

2026 is the year we make significant progress with improving our outdoor play spaces at Coleridge Primary School, so we hope you'll get involved and support the children's ideas for getting moving for this good cause. New equipment for fitness and fun will be installed over the summer holidays if we can reach our targets. We've got several spaces needing upgrading and we've got great momentum on making the site greener and more playable.

How the Active Challenge works: children can choose an activity to do on their own, with friends or family, or even as a class or year group. This could be swimming 26 lengths, doing 26 forward rolls, running 26k in a relay, choreographing 26 minutes of dance... anything that will be a challenge and that they'll enjoy. They ask friends, family, neighbours and friends to sponsor them (at least £20.26!) and give their donation on completion of the activity.

Sponsorship money can be returned via their class teacher as cash or by bank transfer to Coleridge Families with the reference 'Active' (Sort code: 60-06-26, Account number: 51554119) OR via children's own fundraising pages which they can create on here, the SuperKind platform, by clicking on the 'join this campaign' button at the top of the page.

Challenges are to be done outside of school hours and school grounds. Please put safety first and respect your surroundings if getting active in the park! Thank you SO much for your support.
