Over the past year, the school has made significant progress in developing its outdoor offer
through the OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) programme. These improvements – from an
outdoor music wall to bird boxes – have already had a noticeable impact on pupils’ play,
confidence, creativity and connection to the natural world.

We are now looking to build on this momentum by raising funds for a specific pieces of
outdoor learning equipment that will further enrich the children’s experience and help us
make the most of our truly special location here in the heart of Speyside. Surrounded by
woodland, river, and hills, we’re so fortunate to have nature on our doorstep, and we want
to ensure our pupils can engage with it in meaningful, regular and inspiring ways.
