Year 9s have chosen to support the work of Afghan Aid due to personal connections to the country and a desire to raise awareness and do what they can to help.

Afghanaid is a British humanitarian and development organisation. For more than forty years, their dedicated personnel have worked with millions of families in some of the most marginalised and remote communities in Afghanistan. They build basic services, improve livelihoods, strengthen the rights of women and children, help communities protect against natural disasters and adapt to climate change, and respond to humanitarian emergencies.

Their community-led approach gives ordinary Afghans a voice in their own development, making them active participants in shaping the future of their country.
