A) to advance tibetan buddhism particularly by making widely available the works and teachings of his holiness the 14th dalai lama of tibet b) to educate the public by promoting a greater awareness of the culture,religion and way of life of the tibetan people including tibetan traditional medicine,astrology,language and literature,logic,philosophy,theatre,sacred dance,music and crafts c) to relieve the poverty of people of tibetan origin and attend to the impoverished parts of the tibetan community,particularly but exclusively,in india and nepal
