How you can support Young Roots:
You could raise money...
Fundraise for us at school, at home, or in your local community. There are many different ways you could raise money, such as hosting a quiz night, putting on a talent show, or organising a bake sale. For more fundraising ideas, click here!
You could spread the word...
Raise awareness of Young Roots through Classroom and School Presentations - ask your teachers if you can give a presentation about our work and the difficulties faced by young refugees. You could also consider writing a newsletter to your school community raising awareness about the experiences of young refugees and Young Roots' work.
You could choose Young Roots for First Give...
Consider asking your school if you can participate in First Give this year. Not only will you learn more about local charities, but you will help raise awareness about organisations like us. By participating, you'll have the chance to win £1000 for Young Roots, which will directly support the work we do. Find out more about the First Give here!
You could inspire others around you...
Sign up to our newsletter, and inspire others to do the same, to learn more about young refugees and what you can do to support them. Share with your friends and family everything you know about Young Roots!
You could learn and chat!
Watch a movie, read a book, or listen to a podcast about refugees. Share your new knowledge with your school network, family, and friends!
