Keep Wildlife In The Wild - Where it Belongs
Right now, wild animals need us more than ever.
Across the world, animals like lions, elephants, and pangolins are losing their homes, trapped in captivity, or hunted for profit. Nature is under threat – forests are being destroyed, oceans polluted, and habitats wiped out. If we don’t act fast, some of the world’s most incredible creatures could disappear forever.
But there is hope. Together, we can change this. At Born Free, we believe in Keeping Wildlife In The Wild. For over 40 years, we’ve rescued animals from captivity, protected their homes, fought against the cruelty of captivity and inspired people everywhere to care for nature.
We know the solutions: stopping animal exploitation, protecting wild places and rescuing animals in need.
With your help, we can create a better future for wildlife and our planet.

What We Do
At Born Free, we work hard every day to keep wildlife in the wild. Here's how:
Rescue animals like lions, pangolins, cheetahs, leopards, tigers and bears from captivity and the illegal wildlife trade.
Fight for stronger laws to stop trophy hunting, challenge the illegal wildlife trade, fight against poaching and halt the demand for trading of wild animals.
Protect habitats like the forests where tigers, orangutans, chimpanzees, and gorillas live, and the savannah where lions, elephants, and cheetahs roam, so these animals stay safe.
Campaign to end cruel practices like keeping dolphins in tanks or using animals in circuses.
Empower communities to care for nature and live peacefully with wildlife.
Take action for the planet by tackling habitat loss and helping nature thrive!
Every action matters, and together, we can make sure wild animals stay safe, happy, and free – just as nature intended.
