About Us

BulliesOut was established in 2006 and is one of the UK’s only charities dedicated to standing up against bullying behaviour. Our award-winning work supports thousands every year, with workshops, training, counselling, and mentoring services delivered to individuals, schools and workplaces nationwide.

Our mission is to support people through positive and innovative programmes that empower them to achieve their full potential.

Why Support BulliesOut?
  • Bullying behaviour affects over 1.5 million young people in the UK every year.
  • Roughly 1 in 5 people who have been bullied experience mental health problems in later life.
  • From 2022-2023, the number of people we supported increased from 13k to over 19k.
  • We've achieved so much but there is still a long way to go.
What We Do

  1. Educational Workshops:

We work closely with schools to deliver interactive and creative workshops that teach young people about the impact of bullying behaviour, how to identify it and what they can do to prevent it. We have 15 workshops and popular workshop topics include Online Safety, Positive Friendships, and Challenging Stereotypes.

2. Training

Young People: Our award-winning Peer2Peer programme encourages young people to support their fellow students and foster positivity while our Playground Pals programme empowers children to promote inclusion, friendship and kindness. For those wanting to take their commitment to anti-bullying beyond the school gates, our Youth Ambassador programme gives them the opportunity to get involved with the work we do at BulliesOut.

Adults: We encourage parents and professionals to join our informative ‘Understanding and Exploring Bullying’ training sessions, many of which are CPD certified. Other topics include Online Safety and Positive behaviour in the Workplace and sessions are run frequently throughout the year.

  1. Counselling and Mentoring

Our ‘Talk2Us’ Counselling and e-Mentoring services support hundreds of people every year. Depending on individual requirements, we offer email or face-to-face support on a one-to-one basis, giving people the chance to share their experiences in a safe space while rebuilding their self-confidence.
