(a) to relieve poverty and hardship in the lives of children and young people – particularly children who are from vulnerable families, children with disabilities and orphans – in countries in eastern europe which have been part of the former soviet union, by providing financial support to short and long term development projects usually led or inspired by christians
(b) to educate and train the public, in particular persons and organisations involved in projects which the charity is also involved, in issues of best practice in work associated with such projects
(c) to provide assistance to other persons, institutions and agencies involved in or wishing to become involved in such work
