What's going on?
The planet is facing many challenges like climate change, water pollution, and poor access to nutritious food. But there is still time to turn things around and make a difference!
For example, a big cause of climate change is deforestation. By supporting the Eden Project, you are helping us to care for the rainforests of the world by teaching about how important they are.
What are we doing about it?
Education
We offer exciting experiences so that people of all ages can learn why the natural world is important. We believe that if people understand why nature is so special, they will be inspired to care for our planet and encourage others to do the same.
Nature
Plants provide us with food, fuels, medicines, materials and even the very air we breathe. That's why we protect wild places and repair damaged spaces.
One of the ways we do this is with wildflower landscapes. Did you know that since WW1, the UK has lost a whopping 97% of its wildflower habitats? We sow, grow and harvest wildflowers to create new wildflower habitats, protect pollinators, and save species from the brink of extinction.
People
We believe that healthy people create a healthy planet.
We help people with physical and mental health conditions feel better by running gardening clubs and guided walking groups in nature.
We also want to help people transform their own communities. Every year, we coordinate The Big Lunch, where millions of people across the UK get together with their neighbours for friendship, food and fun.
