1. to advance the education of children, young people and adults within surrey and in such other parts of the united kingdom or the world as the trustees from time to time think fit in order to develop their emotional, physical mental and spiritual capacities so that they may realise their full potential as individuals and members of the community.
2. to provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare for persons who have need by reason of their youth, poverty of social and economic circumstances within the object of improving their conditions in life in the said location and in such other parts of the united kingdom or the world as the trustees may from time to time think fit
