To promote the benefit of young people between 8 and 25 in the borough of bolton and surrounding area (therein called the area of benefit). without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, gender, disability, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together with those working with young people including local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for those aforesaid young people.
