2. objects
2.1 the objects for which the charity is established are:
2.1.1 to relieve poverty, distress and suffering in any part of the world, in particular, but not exclusively, for the benefit of refugees and victims of oppression, violent conflict, natural or other kinds of disaster and displacement (the “beneficiaries”);
2.1.2 to carry out programmes in global emergency relief so as to assist the beneficiaries;
2.1.3 to advance the education, development and training of the beneficiaries;
2.1.4 to advance and protect the health of the beneficiaries;
and to fulfil such objects without regard to the race, nationality or religion of the beneficiaries.
2.2 nothing in these articles shall authorise an application of the property of the charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005 and/or section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
