Who We Are
For over 20 years, KidsRights has been at the forefront of promoting and protecting children’s rights worldwide through research, advocacy, and action. At KidsRights UK, we empower young changemakers to share their stories, ideas and experiences to ensure their voices are heard when decisions are made.
KidsRights works to advance children’s rights and encourage child participation through our global work:
- Advocacy - International Children’s Peace Prize - Awarded annually, the International Children’s Peace Prize recognises a child who courageously stands up for children’s rights and creates meaningful impact locally or globally.
- Research - KidsRights Index - Published annually, the KidsRights Index is the first and only global ranking that measures how well children’s rights are respected worldwide.
- Action - State of Youth - Through State of Youth, our global action platform, we empower young people aged 12–29 to become leaders and changemakers. This worldwide, youth-led movement provides tools, resources, and connections to take action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, guided by children’s rights.
