(1) to promote the education of both sexes (2) to carry on and maintain the school known as the king’s school, canterbury (which school includes the preparatory school known as the junior king’s school and the pre-preparatory school known as the milner court pre-prep) together with all the lands, securities, moneys and property of every description real or personal vested in, or belonging to, any trustees on behalf of the foundation as defined in the said supplemental royal charter dated 4th february 1992
