About Us

Little Village supports families with babies and children under five living in poverty across London.  We run a baby bank network, collecting, sorting and passing on pre-loved clothes and equipment.  Parents are also supported by our dedicated signposting and guidance team, who offer advice and links to other services. In addition, we work with families to share their stories and campaign to fix the systems that trap them in poverty. 

Our Vision

Our vision is of thriving communities where families share their pre-loved kit and every child under five has the start in life they deserve.

Our missions are:

  • To ensure families on low incomes with children under five have the support and essentials they need
  • To work together with parents to fix the systems that trap families in poverty
  • To inspire families to both choose and share pre-loved children’s clothes and kit
Our Impact

In 2022 we:

  • Supported 7,009 children
  • Directed 581 parents to extra support
  • Gifted £2,75 million worth of items
  • Handed out 16,640 books
  • Re-distributed 5,109 coats
  • Donated 1,878 beds & cots
  • Supplied 4,676 packs of naps
  • Gave away 1,365 buggies
  • Packed 8,289 bundles
  • Rallied together 1,212 volunteers
How you can support Little Village:
  • Raise money: We’re always blown away by the creative and impressive feats taken on by people to raise money for Little Village – from sponsored head shaves, to sponsored silences, to seven year old Bradley running a marathon in seven days!
  • Donate stuff: And we're always looking for more donations. You can donate by post, by booking a collection, or at your nearest Little Village donation point.
  • Organise a donation drive: Go the extra mile by organising a donation drive to rally your community or school together to support us. 
  • Buy an item from our wish list: Or, instead of asking for presents for your birthday, you could ask for people to buy a couple items from our wish list. For example, for £15, they could buy 12 pairs of gloves to keep children's hands warm over winter.
