a. providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals;
b. promoting volunteering by young people and providing information and advice to young people about opportunities to volunteer and about volunteering;
c. promoting and providing opportunities for young people to become involved in volunteering and community projects;
d. advancing education and training and helping young people gain skills and qualifications;
e. providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for young people with the object of improving their conditions of life.
