What we do
We provide support to help people living with cancer at every stage of their journey.
From their initial concerns about cancer, to diagnosis (when the doctors confirm they have cancer), to during treatment, and after treatment.
We help in all sorts of ways. We provide emotional, practical, physical and financial support to make life as easy as possible for people living with cancer.
Our impact
In 2021:
- 4 million people benefited from our services
- 103,000 people were supported through the Macmillan Support Line
- £227.5 million was raised by our supporters
How you can support Macmillan Cancer Support:
An incredible 98% of our income comes from voluntary donations from supporters.
Raise money for us by:
- Taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on 29th Find more information and fundraising packs here.
- Organise a dress-up day to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Ask your schoolmates to bring in £1 to dress in green for the day.
- Embark on a sporting challenge. You could hike, run, cycle, swim, or any other sport that you enjoy!
