The objects for which the association is established are: to advance the mental health and wellbeing of local communities within whatever areas and/or populations are designated by the board from time to time within the terms of the relevant agreement in place from time to time between mind and the association; to provide relief, enable and empower people experiencing mental health problems to live with, manage and recover from their condition and associated effects; to increase the understanding of good mental health and of mental health problems through working to raise awareness, promote understanding and challenge stigma and discrimination; to work with national mind to further the values and aims of national mind and of this association
