(a) to advance education and undertake research for the benefit of the public (and to publish the useful results of such research), particularly in economics, citizenship and environmental, social and political sciences
(b) to promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by (i) the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use of resources, (ii) the relief of poverty and improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities and (iii) pursuing such other related charitable purposes as the trustees may determine
