1). to promote and undertake for the public benefit the conservation of plants and their habitats. 2). to educate the public so as to increase their knowledge, understanding and appreciation of plants, and their awareness of the value of plants and the need for plant conservation. 3). to promote and undertake for the public benefit the establishment and maintenance of places of botanical interest for the cultivation and preservation of plants. 4). to promote, organise and undertake study and research in the principles and practice of the conservation of plants and their uses provided that all the useful results of such research shall be published. 5). to promote such other charitable objects or charitable purposes which are conducive to the aforesaid objects as the board may from time to time in its discretion determine.
