The objects of the cio are the advancement of the christian faith for the public benefit among children and young people and their families, working in particular (but not exclusively) in schools, colleges, other education establishments with students and members of young people’s uniformed organisations in dorset and hampshire and especially in bournemouth, christchurch and poole, in particular but not exclusively by:
(1) education and raising awareness among young people and staff of the christian faith and its relevance to life through regular visits to and engagement with schools, etc;
(2) the delivery of assemblies, liturgies, lessons, workshops, school clubs and other events by staff and volunteers in partnership with local christian churches, their ministers and members, in order to provide tudents with opportunities for learning through exploring, discussing and understanding the christian faith, and for responding to it;
(3) providing training and learning opportunities, in partnership with churches and other organisations, for those involved in ministry amongst young people;
(4) the provision of subsidised supervision, support and training to members of school staff, churches and other christian organisations, and in particular but not exclusively to pastoral care workers and senior leadership teams in schools.
