About Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity provides specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children. There are currently over 120 Roald Dahl Nurses caring for over 33,000 seriously ill children across the UK.

Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses are a vital lifeline to the children and their families, supporting them clinically and emotionally. The charity supports children and young people affected by complex, lifelong illnesses that are under-funded, under-resourced and under-recognised including Rare Diseases, Sickle Cell Anaemia, Neuro-Muscular Conditions and Epilepsy. The charity also supports children and young people as they move from children's to adult services.

Take part in Roald Dahl Story Day at school

Roald Dahl Story Day takes place on the 13th of September or any day you prefer! Join us in celebrating Roald Dahl Story Day by dressing up as your favourite character, decorating a spoon, or even baking a delicious double chocolate cake!
