Our Big Goal for Animals
We want to live in a world where all animals are treated with kindness, respect and compassion - and you can help make that happen.
What We Do
At the RSPCA, we work every day to make animals’ lives better by:
Rescuing animals who are hurt, lost or in danger
Caring for animals by giving them food, shelter and treatment
Speaking up for animals and changing the law to protect them
Teaching people in local communities how to look after animals kindly and responsibly
Take part in RSPCA Week!
Save the date! Celebrate RSPCA Week with us, from Monday 29 September to Friday 3 October. RSPCA Week is a great way for primary and secondary schools to get involved with the world’s oldest and largest animal welfare charity.

How you can support The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals:
There are lots of other ways to help animals just by noticing them in everyday life.
Whether you’re spending time with your pet, walking through a park, or visiting other animals, ask yourself:
Does the animal have choices in their life?
How do they show how they feel?
Can you make their day better?
