1. to relieve the needs of people who are or are at risk of suffering from, or who are or may be affected by, metastatic breast cancer.
2. to advance public education in and understanding of metastatic breast cancer, its symptoms, its treatment and research relating to it.
3. to advance research into the nature, causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure of metastatic breast cancer including the dissemination of the useful results of such research.
nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005 and section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
