a) the relief in need of people primarily in manchester and the surrounding areas who are in conditions of poverty, hardship or distress, in particularly but not exclusively, by the provision of a drop-in centre providing a food bank facility and soup kitchens; listening services; help and advice with benefits and finding employment; and also offering support via partners with counselling where required from qualified individuals.
