How you can support St. Clare West Essex Hospice Care Trust:
1. purposes
1.1 the charity’s objects are, for the public benefit, to advance the health of individuals with advanced and progressive life-limiting illnesses and others approaching death (“such individuals”) and to relieve the needs (including, without limitation, the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs) of such individuals, their family, friends and carers and others who have experienced a bereavement or loss, in particular but not exclusively by:
1.1.1 the provision of care, advice and services to such individuals, their family, friends and carers and others who have experienced a bereavement or loss;
1.1.2 the provision of education, training, advice and support to those providing care, advice or services to such individuals, their family, friends and carers, and those who are in contact with those who have experienced a bereavement or loss;
1.1.3 conducting and promoting research into the care and treatment of (or services for) such individuals, their family, friends and carers, and those who have experienced a bereavement or loss, and the dissemination of the results thereof; and
1.1.4 promoting awareness of issues faced by such individuals, their family, friends and carers and those who have experienced a bereavement or loss, primarily but not exclusively in the western part of the county of essex and the eastern part of the county of hertfordshire.
