(i) to provide assistance, advice, representations and services, which will directly relieve the need or disability of autistic people in kent. (ii) to provide and maintain homes and day care/work facilities in kent for autistic people and handicapped people with similar special needs, providing as normal a home life as possible. (iii) to help autistic and other handicapped people to develop to their fullest potential according to each individual’s natural abilities and interests, and to become as self sufficient as his/her degree of handicap will permit. (iv) to provide training opportunities for people wishing to work with or understand more about autistic people (in a paid or voluntary capacity) and to increase knowledge of autism and the needs of autistic people.
