How you can support The Worshipful Company of Actuaries Charity:
(a) the relief of poverty of members of the profession of actuaries those dependent upon them and members of the company and their dependants.
(b) the advancement of education of persons intending to practise the profession of actuaries or any other recognised profession in particular through the provision of grants, bursaries, exhibitions, prizes and other forms of financial support.
(c) to promote and support charitable research in the field of actuarial science and mathematics in such manner as the trustees see fit;
(d) to support persons in financial need to undertake a course of study, apprenticeship, internship, training position or other role calculated to assist them to find employment in particular as an actuary or within a recognised profession or to study mathematics.
(e) to make donations for any purpose to any charity in england and wales whether registered or not required to be registered under the charities act 2011 or to any not-for-profit institution or body not within england and wales that is established for a purpose that is a charitable purpose under the charities act 2011.
