Friends of Barrow Hill Primary Academy is a parent-teacher association (PTA) that’s also a registered charity, dedicated to enriching the lives of students and the wider Barrow Hill community. By organizing various fundraising events throughout the year, the charity’s primary goal is to provide additional resources and opportunities that might not be covered by standard school budgets. A key focus of their current efforts is raising money for a new school playground, which will offer a modern, safe, and engaging space for children to play, learn, and socialize. Beyond this major project, the funds raised also support “life chances” and “fun days,” helping to create memorable experiences and provide access to enriching activities that benefit all members of the Barrow Hill community.
