Harrow Way School is a fully comprehensive secondary school in Andover, Hampshire.
The culture within school values respect and community and our students are encouraged to be active citizens.
The curriculum, including dedicated lessons in Personal Development, PSHE, Citizenship, Philosophy and Sociology, provides ample opportunity for students to explore and consider the society they live in and their role within it.
The engagement with enrichment activities is high and students are actively involved in Student Voice and decision making at Harrow Way.
This Year we are looking even further to promote social engagement and in particular to work with the wider community on fundraising and active citizenship projects.
We currently have 6 students applying to be members of Hampshire Youth Parliament.
The school’s Equality Club succesfully created a Harvest Festival Food Drive for Andover Food Bank.
The school’s ECO club are creating more inviting spaces for wildlife.
Harrow Way are currently running mock elections for UK Parliament Week, voting on proposed changes to post 16 education.
