Happy Shoes Day!

We’re excited to announce that our school is taking part in Happy Shoesday on Tuesday 19 May 2026. This fun fundraising day celebrates walking, creativity and wellbeing – pupils simply wear any shoes that make them feel happy and bring a small donation.

Why take part?
It’s fun, simple and uplifting
It supports active travel and healthier habits
Our school keeps 50% of all funds raised which will help to fund a bike/scooter stand in school
The rest helps Living Streets improve safety and walkability

Who and what is Living Streets Charity?

Living Streets is a UK charity promoting everyday walking and wheeling to achieve safer, healthier and less polluted streets. They also campaign for better pedestrian infrastructure and initiatives to encourage walking for short, local journeys - such as the Walk to School Scheme they are currently funding in our school for the next 3 years.
