At Ashchurch Primary School, We believe in providing the best possible learning experience for our children. This year, Paul Brenton who is the Father of Amber in Y1, is taking on "Spider’s Endurance Challenge", a personal mission to push his limits and raise funds to enhance science education and upgrade essential technology at our school.
Science is all about discovery, and we want to give our students hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and engagement. Funds raised will go towards purchasing essential science equipment, including:
🔬 Microscopes & Magnifying Glasses – Bringing science to life
⚡ Electricity Components & Data Loggers – Interactive learning tools
🌱 Rock & Soil Samples, Thermometers & Torches – Supporting real-world exploration
Additionally, any remaining funds will contribute to replacing the school’s aging Chromebooks, ensuring students have access to modern digital learning resources.
To support this cause, Paul who turns 52 in March, is taking on two of the toughest endurance events in the world:
🏃♂️ The London Marathon (27th April 2025) – A gruelling 26.2-mile challenge of stamina and resilience.
🛑 The World’s Toughest Mudder (28th-29th June 2025) – A brutal 24-hour obstacle course pushing physical and mental endurance to the limits.
Every mile, every obstacle, and every challenge he will face is to give back to our children’s education.
