Ashford Prep School is excited to celebrate with a whole-school Reading Challenge.
Beginning on World Book Day and running until the last day of term, every pupil will be encouraged to read a set number of books or words as part of this special event.
Reading plays a vital role in children’s academic, social, and emotional development. Independent reading, shared reading, and reading aloud all help children to build confidence, fluency, and imagination. We hope you will support our pupils by encouraging them as they take part in this challenge.
Charity number: 1165474
The Foundation was established in 2016 to fund means-tested places and support the development of the school’s educational facilities.
Since its inception, it has provided more than £200,000 in financial support to pupils. These bursaries offer life-changing opportunities to children who might not otherwise benefit from an Ashford School education, while also supporting families facing unexpected hardship.
In addition, the Foundation has contributed to important capital projects across the school, including developments in cricket, swimming, and reading facilities.
With your help, we can continue to build on the generosity of previous generations, grow the Foundation’s resources, and ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
