Vitual Duck Race – St Pauls – Buzzards

We're delighted to announce our next PTA fundraiser... the Virtual Duck Race! This fun school-wide event promises to be a great occasion, and we would really appreciate your support in helping make it a success.

How it works

Each class will be allocated a virtual duck to take part in an online race running throughout the school week, starting on Monday 6 July. The ducks will “swim” each day, with results available for each of the classes to view online at 2.40pm for a 5 minute period.

On Friday 10 July, we’ll come together at both sites after the celebration assembly, at approximately 9.30am, to cheer the ducks across the finish line.

Each class duck will be randomly assigned a colour theme from a pre-set selection, such as “the blue duck” or “the pink duck”.

The aim

Each class is encouraged to raise sponsorship for their duck. Prizes will include:

• The class that raises the most money per site
• A prize draw from all returned donations, with two family-ticket prizes kindly donated by a local company

There is absolutely no pressure, even if each child raises just £1, it will make a huge difference.

Finale Day – Dress Up for Your Duck!

On Friday 10 July, children can come dressed in their class duck’s colour. There is no need to buy anything new, a homemade hat, decorated T-shirt, face paint, or small flag is more than enough to join in the fun.

Sponsorship will be collected digitally through our Superkind account.

What we are fundraising for?

Funds raised will support:

• An 'end of term' experience for all children to enjoy
• Wet-weather boxes for each classroom, ready for the new school year
